Huru Browser has no accounts
Huru Browser (package com.hurubrowser.app, published by AdxFuel LLC) never asks you to sign up. The only identifier we hold is an anonymous device ID created when the app is installed. It is not linked to your name, e-mail or phone number unless you added them to the optional profile (Settings › Profile), where you can also remove them yourself at any time.
How to request deletion
- Open Huru Browser → Settings › About and tap Your ID to copy it.
- E-mail [email protected] with the subject "Delete my Huru Browser data" and paste the ID.
- We delete everything tied to that ID within 30 days and confirm by e-mail.
Alternatively, uninstalling the app or clearing its data in Android Settings removes the ID from your phone; anything still held on our servers under that ID expires automatically (see below).
What is deleted
- The anonymous device ID and its device record (phone model, Android version, app language, country, chosen video language, default-browser flag, optional display name).
- Usage counters and crash / diagnostic events tied to that ID.
- The optional profile: name, profile photo (the file is deleted from storage), mobile / WhatsApp numbers and email address.
- Video watch history used for recommendations, feed sessions, and any video reports you sent.
- The push-notification token for that device.
What is kept, and for how long
- Aggregate statistics (e.g. "1,240 app opens on 19 September") contain no device IDs and are kept indefinitely.
- Without a deletion request: raw event rows are rotated after a few thousand entries, device records expire after 200 days of inactivity, push tokens after 200 days without use.
- Browsing history, bookmarks, downloads and files never leave your phone — they are removed when you clear the app's data or uninstall.
- Advertising: the Android advertising ID used by Google AdMob can be reset or deleted in Android Settings › Google › Ads.
